Patrick Ames: All I Do Is Bleed (Music Review)

By: Rob Perez –

All I Do Is Bleed is a really intimate look into singer/songwriter Patrick Ames’ life, and he communicates his story compellingly in this four-track EP album.

This album is very R&B-heavy with a few Latin-inspired beats thrown in, and solid production. The tone touches on a lot of sadness, with subjects such as love lost, personal loss, and what-ifs and regrets.

It’s never easy to put your personal struggles out there, and Patrick Ames does it knowing it ain’t easy but with plenty of strong musical ability. The downbeat to it makes it not easy to listen to or appealing to everyone, but it’s got plenty of reflection, which is what most everyone can relate to.

About Rob Perez

I come from Long Island, NY where I was born, raised and currently still live. I grew up with New York City literally right next door to me where I get to experience everything great about the greatest city in the world, anytime I want to. Look me up especially if your film tastes are in sync with mine. I enjoy comedies, sci-fi, action, spy thrillers, indie films, just about anything with a decent plot. I've been reviewing music and films for 15 years and I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts with MovieBoozer.com.
