Peter Senior: “On the Edge” (Music Review)

By: Rob Perez –

Australia has certainly delivered a slew of great artists stateside recently. Among them is Peter Senior, whose recent album On the Edge is a rich collection of hits. It’s worth more than a listen, it’s earned several listens since you’ll want to have this album on regular rotation in your personal playlist.

Seriously though, On the Edge has several top charting hits that are strong musical numbers. But really, there isn’t any filler on this solid release. “Cool Ride” with it’s excellent arrangement is a nice blend of rock and old school blues music, very well-captured by the native Australian. “Baby I Love You” is a beautiful, piano driven single really made for adult contemporary audiences, but once you hear it, it’ll be hard for anyone, whether they’re in the target audience or not, to dislike. Its very grand, melodic sound will instantly grab you, we promise.

By the end you’ll agree this two beer album is a tremendous release, and by the way, the music is packed with passion and every track delivers quality. That’s where the passion comes from. Not something you can say with every album release.
