max lee: “Colors of Noise” (Music Review)

By: Rob Perez –

Influenced by art, rock, and his hometown, New York native max lee’s debut album, Colors Of Noise, combines all these influences in one must listen to album. max not only wrote every song but also performs every instrument on Colors Of Noise, and the results are a melodic, un-balanced collection of experimental tracks.

The songs, many of them short, are definitely influenced by a variety of styles and genres. You may need to give it a listen a few times to get it, but we do believe Colors Of Noise will eventually grab you.

It’s not a perfect album by any means, and there are some moments where it does drag, but we admire max lee’s do it yourself attitude in creating his own music his way. This creative spirit is captured throughout Colors Of Noise. Next time let’s hear some collaboration. But for a totally solo effort, max lee’s Colors Of Noise should make some noise.

About Rob Perez

I come from Long Island, NY where I was born, raised and currently still live. I grew up with New York City literally right next door to me where I get to experience everything great about the greatest city in the world, anytime I want to. Look me up especially if your film tastes are in sync with mine. I enjoy comedies, sci-fi, action, spy thrillers, indie films, just about anything with a decent plot. I've been reviewing music and films for 15 years and I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts with MovieBoozer.com.
