DannyDosha: “Kelsey 2” (Music Review)

By: Rob Perez –

It’s not often you hear about Hip-Hop artists branching off to different genres, but that’s what you have hear with DannyDosha. A Baltimore native, this Hip-Hop prodigy has produced and released “Kelsey 2”, a beautiful number that mixes in various styles of genres, dedicated to cello artist Kelsey Lu.

It’s a three part record all in tribute to her. It may feature slick rock vocals, but the record also contains obvious traits of Danny’s Hip-Hop background. Some soul and jazz round out the release.

It’s a bit of an acquired taste, but after three beers we definitely recommend you give it a listen. Sometimes the gems, and we think this is one, aren’t so obvious. But we think you’ll grow to enjoy listening to “Kelsey 2”.
