This film has many, many stars, especially the amazing David Addison… sorry Bruce Willis. Moonlighting is still one of my favourite shows EVER. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Pacey Witter (damn it, I mean Joshua Jackson) and Vince Vaughn (hehehehe) co-star. Also some British actress, Rebecca Hall, whose talents are a pair of pretty legs and a nice mouth!

The film is about making money by betting…well I think it’s about that. I got lost somewhere around Beth (Rebecca Hall) not wanting to be a stripper anymore. Strippers make good money, people, and when one has a nice arse, people want to see it! Instead we find out she is good at math and ends up working for Dink (an excellent name). She falls in love with a couple of people, makes money for Dink, and then gets into trouble with the wrong crowd. Whoever saw gambling being as exciting as this… has never worked in a call centre.

A Toast

Not worth over an hour of anyone’s time, unless you want to see a blonde Laura Prepon’s breasts. Sure they are nice, but to watch this movie for two minutes of breasts???

Beer Two

The wasted talent of Bruce Willis and Vince Vaughn is shameless, although I don’t think they acted in this film, just turned up to read a few lines and get paid. A good job if you can get it.

Beer Three

Watching the AWFUL acting of Rebecca Hall. There is not one scene she is in where you are not rooting for her to decide not to act again. I started watching the film The Town, then gave up when she came on screen!!!

Verdict

3beers

Nice poster, some good actors, but overall a film as forgettable as Milli Vanilli.

Drinking Game

Take a Drink: every time Beth twiddles her hair!!

Do a Shot: every time you see Bruce Willis.  Why? It’s Bruce, that’s why.

  1. It was dreadful, I could hardly finish watching it. A good cast wasted on this.

  2. and yes, Rebecca Hall is extremely irritating. :))
