Matt Warren: “Music Is My Life” (Music Review)

By: Rob Perez (Two Beers) –

After a long hiatus, Chicago’s Matt Warren returns with a very danceable, very modern new album, Music Is My Life, in a style that Warren is calling Nu House.

Call it whatever you want, but I just call it groovin’. As in it’s good from beginning to end. Encompassing a wide range influences, Music Is My Life features dance, some Latin, R&B, EDM, and a touch of classical. If this is what Nu House is, it has a bright future.

These eleven tracks that make up Music Is My Life will just put you in a good mood and keep your energy up. About two beers later, you’ll be fully in the right mood to really enjoy this brand spankin’ new direction in music.

About Rob Perez

I come from Long Island, NY where I was born, raised and currently still live. I grew up with New York City literally right next door to me where I get to experience everything great about the greatest city in the world, anytime I want to. Look me up especially if your film tastes are in sync with mine. I enjoy comedies, sci-fi, action, spy thrillers, indie films, just about anything with a decent plot. I've been reviewing music and films for 15 years and I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts with MovieBoozer.com.
