Not a whole lot this week again, and next week looks even more bare unless something drops at the last minute.  What, do people not buy DVDs in the late summer?  Whoever made Bathory: Countess of Blood, Budz House, The Girl From the Naked Eye, Wan Chai Baby… man, even the crazy DVD title business is underwhelming this week.  Oh, well.

Silent House –

Silent House (2012) DVD / Blu-ray

This one take horror remake gets points for chutzpah, but as LivingDeadGuy will tell you, this doesn’t salvage a pretty subpar horror flick.

The Deep Blue Sea (2012) DVD / Blu-ray

This, on the other hand, is some beautifully executed drama.  Can’t recommend this enough, if only to see Rachel Weisz strut her stuff.
